Condition Certain 2017 model year Bolt EV vehicles may have a condition in which the cells within the battery pack have low voltage. This condition is related to the state of charge of the cell group. Eventually, the difference in the state of charge of the cell groups (average vs. minimum) may exceed a threshold.
Correction Replace the high voltage battery pack.

Condition Certain 2018 model year Chevrolet Equinox vehicles were assembled with engine/transmission mount bolt torques that do not apply sufficient clamp load to securely attach the mounts to the powertrain. In each case, only one of the bolts used to attach the driver side or passenger side mounts are affected. The second and third bolts should reach their intended torque.
Correction Dealers are to replace all bolts from the transmission and engine mounts.

Involved vehicles are identified on the Applicable Warranties section in GM Global Warranty Management system. This site should always be checked to confirm vehicle involvement prior to beginning any required inspections and/or repairs.

Condition: Some 2013-2014 model year Buick Encore and Chevrolet Trax vehicles, operating in cold weather conditions of -18 degrees Celsius or less, may experience ice forming in the charge air cooler and/or closed crankcase ventilation components under certain driving conditions. The formation of ice in these components could cause the customer to experience one or more of the following conditions: malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) with diagnostic trouble code (DTC) P0299, P0236, P2227, or P00C7, oil odour, smoke from the tailpipe, loss of power, or hesitation; stalling may also occur if the charge air cooler becomes blocked with ice.
Special Coverage Adjustment This special coverage covers the condition described above for a period of 6 years or 160,000 km, whichever occurs first, from the date the vehicle was originally placed in service, regardless of ownership.

For vehicles covered by Vehicle Service Contracts, all eligible claims with repair orders on or after August 30, 2017, are covered by this special coverage and must be submitted using the labour operation codes provided with this bulletin. Claims with repair orders prior to August 30, 2017, must be submitted to the Service Contract provider.

Vehicle owners or lessees who paid for repairs referenced in this Special Coverage (“Customers”) are eligible for reimbursement of their reasonable and customary expenses in accordance with the procedures specified below. The conditional right to reimbursement is provided by GM solely in the interest of customer satisfaction and is personal to Customers. Customers may not assign and GM does not consent to any assignment of any Customer’s right to submit reimbursement claims, or to receive reimbursement, or any other rights granted by this Special Coverage to any third party, including but not limited to service contract providers, and this Special Coverage is not intended to and does not confer any third party beneficiary, subrogation or contribution rights, or any other rights to reimbursement, against GM, whether in law, equity or otherwise, on any third parties.

Correction Dealers are to replace the charge air cooler, change engine oil and filter, and if necessary install an intake air heater assembly. The repairs will be made at no charge to the customer.

Condition Certain 2017-2018 model year Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 vehicles, equipped with 10-speed automatic transmission (RPO MGL), may have a condition in which the transmission was overfilled during production. If an overfill condition exists the transmission fluid may become aerated and may cause high transmission temperatures, gear slippage, and erratic shifting. In addition, performing limit-handling maneuvers may produce a fluid overflow condition through the vent tube.
Correction Inspect, and if necessary correct, the automatic transmission fluid level.
