With Duramax 6.6L Turbo Diesel Engine (RPO LML)

The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.

 

Condition/Concern

Some customers may comment that there is coolant leaking from the coolant surge tank area of the vehicle. This leak may be around the fill cap or hose areas.

 

Recommendation/Instructions

If the leak is found to be coming from the Surge Tank, replace the Radiator Surge Tank and Cap together.
